Richard Bolin

Richard was born in Anderson County, Kentucky as the youngest of 8 siblings, four boys and three sisters.

All his brothers played guitar and consequently taught him. Two of Richard's brothers decided to start a band and persuaded him to stop playing guitar and learn to play bass guitar.

They were an instrumental band and played clubs around Louisville from 1965 to 1973.
They played at one club as much as seven nights a week for almost two years.
Since then he has played with different bands around Louisville.

Richard has always loved playing different types of music and constantly challenging himself.
